Payroll Integration with Quickbooks Desktop 2022

January 18, 2022

UPDATE (March, 2022): We have created a workaround for anyone running Quickbooks Desktop 2022.
Click here to read the full update and step-by-step instructions.

Intuit Quickbooks removed the "Timer Activities" import feature in their 2022 desktop software. Because of this, Virtual TimeClock payroll exports cannot be performed with Quickbooks Desktop 2022.

This appears to be a conscious decision from Quickbooks and we do not expect Intuit to restore this long-standing feature. If you currently rely on Virtual TimeClock payroll integration with Quickbooks Desktop, we recommend delaying your upgrade to Quickbooks 2022 at this time.

While we do not know if there is a workaround, our development team is exploring alternate ways to import your timecard data into Quickbooks 2022. If you are using Quickbooks Desktop 2022 and have any additional information or would like to be notified of any updates, please contact us. We're here to help.
