Hiding the In/Out Board

November 21, 2013

There are times when the time clock in/out board may not be the desired method for your employees to clock in and out. For example, if you're using a group time clock, then you may not want employees to see the latest punch times of other users when they're clocking in. The easy solution is to switch the group time clock interface to use the PIN or Passcode login screen. This protects the anonymity of all time clock users and may even speed up the clock in and out process. If you really like using the in/out board for knowing when employees are onsite but would rather not broadcast their latest punch times, then you can simply remove the Time column from the in/out board display. All of these time clock interface changes can be made by turning on administration, then going to Configure and Display Groups.
