Virtual TimeClock 14 Release 4 brings flexible new time clock preferences, enhancements to manual entry creation, and improved performance for Network Edition users. Virtual TimeClock 14 Release 4 is a free upgrade for registered Virtual Time Clock 14 users and customers enrolled in our software Maintenance & Support program.

Basic, Pro and Network Edition

  • New local preference determines if the User Status window auto closes after punching in or out.
  • New local preference determines how long an idle User Status window remains open.
  • Simplified one-step creation of overnight manual timecard entries is once again supported.
  • Eliminated display error in large In & Out Board lists in low memory situations on Windows PCs.
  • Full compatibility with upcoming Apple OS X 10.10 Yosemite release.
  • Updated installer is compatible with upcoming Apple OS X 10.9.5 Mavericks release.

Pro & Network Edition
All of the above changes, plus:

  • New ability to record lunch breaks when creating manual timecard entries.
  • New ability to filter inactive activities makes managing large activity lists much easier.
  • New ability to import users from the Canadian version of QuickBooks®1.
  • Updated Entry Note editor simplifies adding, modifying, and viewing timecard entry notes.
  • Fixed a rare issue where the time clock was unable to record a stop time.
  • Timecard summary reports use employee salary instead of hourly burden for report wage totals.
  • Pressing the Escape key when using the PIN or Passcode interface no longer exits the program.
  • Reports requesting inclusion of workers with no recorded hours are reliably included in the report.
  • Manager login consistently loads the proper toolbar for the currently displayed group.

Network Edition
All of the above changes, plus:

  • Pro Client using the Individual interface can once again turn on TimeClock administration.
  • Improved program stability on networks that experience dropped connections between TimeClock clients and their TimeClock Server.
