When is Veterans Day 2020?

Veterans Day falls on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 this year. This federal holiday is recognized by most banks, schools, state and federal offices, and some private sector businesses. Many of those organizations will be closed or have modified hours of operation on Veterans Day. History of Veterans Day
Veterans Day celebrates the men and women who have served in some capacity in the United State Armed Forces. Originally known as Armistice Day, and still recognized under that name in different parts of the world, in commemoration of the cessation of hostilities on the Western Front during World War I. Veterans Day was renamed in the United States in 1954 to honor all United States veterans of war.
