Tracking Volunteer Time

June 20, 2014

Summer is the time many businesses tap into the newly liberated work force and bring on summer interns to help out. Of course, Virtual TimeClock is the perfect tool to keep track of temporary and part time workers. You'll have an accurate record of all hours worked and when the internship has been completed, you can simply make the user inactive. This will remove the worker from the current in/out board list but the time clock will still maintain a record of their hours worked. Plus, you just need to make them active if they join you again next summer. The intern gets an accurate report of their hours that can be turned into their internship supervisor to make sure they get the credit they've earned. The time clock is also great for nonprofit and charitable organizations to keep track of both paid and unpaid volunteer hours.
