When is Labor Day 2023?

Established by congress in 1894, Labor Day stands as a testament to the invaluable contributions made by workers across the United States. It symbolizes the collective efforts of individuals who dedicate their skills, expertise, and passion towards driving our economy forward. In other countries, Labor Day is often referred to or linked with International Workers Day celebrated on May 1.

Labor Day is observed on the first Monday of September. Labor Day will be celebrated on September 4th in 2023. Most banks, schools, and many private sector businesses will be closed.
