Federal Holidays in January 2024

With the Christmas holidays wrapping up, it is time to celebrate a new year! As we look ahead, two federal holidays are in January 2024:

• Monday, January 1 - New Year's Day
• Monday, January 15 - Martin Luther King Jr. Day

New Year's Day
This year, New Year's Day falls on a Monday. Most federal agencies and businesses will observe the New Year's holiday on Monday, January 1.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day
This federal holiday commemorates the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and is observed on the 3rd Monday of each January. The first national observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day occurred in January 1986. This year the holiday will be observed on Monday, January 15, 2024. Coincidentally, it is also the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Redcort Software will be closed on Monday, January 1, 2024, in observance of New Year's Day. We will reopen for normal business hours (8 am - 5 pm PST) on Tuesday, January 2. Our offices will be open during normal business hours on Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
