With the New Year almost here, we want to bring your attention to a few TimeClock housekeeping items that will help your business start off right in 2015.

Is Your TimeClock Data Secure?
Backups are like insurance, nobody wants to pay for it but everyone regrets not having it when calamity strikes. In less time than it takes to read this newsletter, you can ensure your data is safe.

Virtual TimeClock can quickly and accurately export your employee hours into AccountEdge®1, ADP Pay eXpert®2, CheckMark®3, Paychex®4, PayChoice®4, QuickBooks®6, or SurePayroll®7. If you’re using one of these payroll services, setting up your TimeClock only takes a few clicks with the step-by-step instructions available on our website or call us for assistance.

Update End of Year Leave Balances
It’s no secret, we all love paid vacation. If your employee’s accrued leave is based on a calendar year, now is a great time to review and input the carryover balance for the new year. It’s so quick that in just a few minutes you can view and update all of your employee leave balances.

2015 Holidays
For those of you that like to plan ahead, Virtual TimeClock was made with you in mind. December is a good time to enter the dates for the holidays your employees will receive next year. Once you enter the holiday dates into the TimeClock, they will automatically appear on the employee’s timecard when the pay period arrives. Simply click Add Leave from the administration toolbar.
