When is Labor Day 2022?

Summer is nearing its end, which means schools everywhere will prepare for another semester and the fall leaves are just barely beginning to change color. Labor Day is the only business holiday in September and is often recognized as the final holiday of the summer. Labor Day became an official holiday in 1894 and celebrates all US workers contributing to our economy. Labor Day always falls on the first Monday of September. In 2022, Labor Day is September 5th. Expect most banks, schools, and some private sector businesses to be closed for the holiday.
