January 2023 Holidays

The Christmas holidays are wrapping up and a new year is upon us! As we look ahead, there are two federal holidays coming January 2023:

• Monday, January 2 - New Year's Day (observed)
• Monday, January 16 - Martin Luther King Jr. Day

New Year's Day
When a legal public holiday falls on a Sunday, it is usually observed on the following Monday for pay and leave purposes. Because the New Year in 2023 begins on Sunday, most federal agencies and businesses will observe the New Year's Day holiday on Monday, January 2.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day
This federal holiday commemorates the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and occurs on the 3rd Monday each January. The first national observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day occurred in January 1986. This year the holiday will be observed on Monday, January 16th, 2023.

Redcort Software will be closed on Monday, January 2, 2023 in observance of New Year's Day. We will be open for normal business hours (8am - 5pm PST) on Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
