Columbus Day is the only federal holiday in the month of October. Columbus Day always falls on the second Monday in October, so this year the holiday falls on October 14th.
Since Columbus Day is a federal holiday, all non-essential federal government offices are closed on Columbus Day, and all federal employees are paid even if they receive the day off. Many private-sector businesses will also take the day off and pay their employees for a holiday.
We will be open for during our normal business hours for Columbus Day, 8am – 5pm PST. For information on other upcoming federal and business holidays, see our Federal and Business holiday calendars.
