February 2024 Federal Holidays

George Washington's Birthday is the only federal holiday in February. This holiday is celebrated on the third Monday of February every year. This year, Washington's Birthday falls on February 19th.

Although the holiday's official name is George Washington's Birthday, it is commonly known as Presidents' Day and is a day to honor all US presidents. Federal employees, schools, and most banks will take February 19, 2024, as a holiday, while many private sector businesses remain open.
