2021 Daylight Saving Time Ends Sunday, November 7th

October 29, 2021

October holidays in 2020

Autumn is in full swing here at Redcort and that comes with pumpkin pie, fall leaves, and the reminder that the end of Daylight Saving Time is nearly upon us. This is the time of year when the clock rolls back an hour, giving you a little bit of extra sleep, or an entire hour of 2am trombone practice.

Daylight Saving Time (DST) ends on November 7th, 2021 at 2:00am. Make sure to turn your analog clocks back an hour.

Your Virtual TimeClock software will handle the time change automatically based on your time settings. That being said, it is always good practice to confirm the time before employees clock in on these occasions.

If you have employees on the clock during the time change, you will need to manually edit timecards to account for the extra hour.  For more information on handling the DST in Virtual TimeClock, see our Daylight Saving Time Knowledge Base article.

Is your Virtual TimeClock up-to-date? Make sure you’re running the latest version of our software here.
