Virtual TimeClock & macOS High Sierra

September 29, 2017

On September 25 Apple released their 14th computer operating system, macOS High Sierra (10.13). Apple's latest OS is largely a 'technology update' to last year's similarly named macOS Sierra. Consistent with recent years, High Sierra is a free upgrade for all compatible Macs.

Virtual TimeClock runs natively on both Apple Mac and Microsoft Windows operating systems. We have not discovered any compatibility issues when running recent Virtual TimeClock releases on MacOS High Sierra. Our upcoming Virtual TimeClock 18 release is being thoroughly tested to ensure full support of macOS High Sierra.

We are long time Mac enthusiasts, having developed the first time and attendance software for Mac computers back in the 1980s. We welcome Apple's second nod to our favorite playground, the mighty Sierra Nevada mountains that loom large above our Redcort Software headquarters in Clovis, California.
