Daylight Saving Time March 2017

If you're looking forward to longer days and more light in the evening, you are in luck! Daylight Saving Time (DST) begins this Sunday, March 12, 2017 at 2:00 am. The price of course is a lost hour of sleep on Saturday night and a semi-annual trek around the house to reset all of your clocks and appliances.
Nearly all modern computers are connected to the Internet, enabling them to automatically update when time changes occur. This means you shouldn't have to worry about Virtual TimeClock running on your computer. If your TimeClock computer is not connected to the Internet, you will need to manually update the time of the computer.

A few industries, like hotels and hospitality, have employees working overnight shifts when the time actually occurs. If you have overnight workers or you want to learn more about DST, check out this informative article about Daylight Savings and Virtual TimeClock.
