Small Business Saturday

November 24, 2014

Small Business Saturday is held on the Saturday after Thanksgiving in the United States and encourages people to shop at small, local businesses in order to help unite local communities during one of the busiest shopping periods of the year. It's a counterpart to Black Friday and Cyber Monday, which focus on big national retailers and eCommerce sites. Small Business Saturday encourages holiday shoppers to visit small brick and mortar businesses, which helps keep the money circulating in the local economy.
